T8-1X Vibration Controller

Close the feedback loop between an electrodynamic or hydraulic shaker, its power amplifier and vibration sensors.

T8-1X

Blue T8-1X controller enclosure with front-panel connectors. Representative catalog photograph.
Representative photo. T8-1X enclosure option shown in the catalog; ordered configuration may vary.

APPLICATIONS

Where it fits

  • Close the feedback loop between an electrodynamic or hydraulic shaker, its power amplifier and vibration sensors.

SYSTEM DETAILS

Equipment and functions

  • Modular control software for sine, random and shock tests.
  • Data recording and replay, user-defined curves and Word, Excel or PDF reporting.
  • A standalone simulation mode supports parameter preparation and teaching.
  • A chassis version with two outputs and built-in charge amplification is illustrated; confirm the required hardware version.

SYSTEM DETAILS

Software & control functions

Select the required functions with the hardware configuration. Extended and optional modules are not assumed to be included.

Base control

Sine (SIN)
Fixed-frequency sine; logarithmic and linear swept sine.
Broadband random (RAN)
PSD control with 200–12800 spectral lines; kurtosis control supported.
Classical shock (SHOCK)
Half-sine, initial-peak sawtooth, terminal-peak sawtooth, trapezoidal and triangular pulses.

Extended control — confirm selected modules

Resonance search and dwell (RSTD)
Search by amplitude ratio or Q; resonance dwell or tracking.
Shock response spectrum (SRS)
SRS fitting for specified shock-response requirements. Confirm the synthesis method and supported pulse duration.
Random-on-random (RnR)
20 independent narrow bands, sweep and out-of-band control.
Sine-on-random (source code RnS)
Combined random and sine control. Confirm the number of tones, bands and their configuration.
Random plus random plus sine (RRS)
6 + 6 independent narrow bands; sweep and out-of-band control.
Long time-history reproduction (LTH)
Waveform cropping; 20–2000 Hz; up to 20 hours of waveform data; looped replay.
Transient time history (TTH)
Waveform cropping and compensation; 0.1–400 ms pulse-width range.
Fast shock
A control option with performance to be confirmed for the configuration.

BEFORE ORDERING

Configuration & confirmation notes

  • Confirm the input-channel count for the ordered hardware configuration.
  • Confirm USB interface version, charge-input hardware and software language. The listed catalog edition uses a Chinese interface.
  • Extended control functions require the selected modules and compatible hardware. Current operating-system compatibility must be confirmed.
